MANHATTAN, KAN. – 

Officers filed a report for theft by deception in the 300 block of N. Seth Child Rd. in Manhattan on December 16, 2020, at approximately 9:22 a.m. Officers listed Waters True Value as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect deceived the business to buy numerous Stihl tools. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $6,000.00. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report for theft in the 100 block of Bluemont Ave. in Manhattan on December 16, 2020, at approximately 4:16 p.m. Officers listed Walmart as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole two Nightowl cameras and a Mainstays entertainment center. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $520.00.  Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.
