Manhattan, Kan. –

Officers responded to an unattended death in the 500 block of Denison Ave in Manhattan on November 1, 2024, at approximately 5:17 p.m. A 20-year-old male was found with what is believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. At this time, we have no reason to believe there was any other party involved in the man’s death.

Officers filed a report for rape in Manhattan on November 2, 2024, at approximately 1:41 a.m. A 27-year-old woman was listed as the victim and an unknown man was listed as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.

Officers filed a report for theft in the 200 block of Seventh St. in Ogden on November 2, 2024, at approximately 1:26 p.m. A 19-year-old man and a 26-year-old man were listed as the victims when it was reported a 24-year-old woman took the victim’s firearm, TV and Xbox. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $2,000.

Officers filed a report for theft, criminal damage to property, criminal possession of a weapon by felon, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of opiate, and distribute certain stimulate in the 500 block of McCall Rd in Manhattan on November 3, 2024, at approximately 9:55 a.m. Menards was listed as the victim when it was reported a 58-year-old female and a 35-year-old male took items from the victim and were found to be in possession of illegal items. Ginger Moore, 58, of Wamego, was arrested for theft, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of opiate, and distribute certain stimulate. Ginger was not issued a bond and remains confined at the Pottawatomie County Jail at the time of this report. Peter Henry, 35, of Salina, was arrested for theft, criminal damage to property, criminal possession of a weapon by felon, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of opiate, and distribute certain stimulate. Henry was not issued a bond and remains confined at the Pottawatomie County Jail at the time of this report.
