MANHATTAN, KAN. – 

Officers filed a report for burglary in the 700 block of College Heights Cir. in Manhattan on November 16, 2020, at approximately 7:56 a.m. Officers listed a 70-year-old female as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole various clothing and jewelry items from her house. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $600.00. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

Officers filed a report for theft in the 2100 block of Elm Ln. in Manhattan on November 16, 2020, at approximately 9:22 a.m. Officers listed a 47-year-old female as the victim when it was reported a known 16-year-old male suspect stole her 2019 Chevrolet Impala. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $25,000.00. The vehicle was recovered by Junction City Police Department.

Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 2100 block of Elm Ln. in Manhattan on November 16, 2020, at approximately 9:22 a.m. Officers listed a 47-year-old female as the victim when it was reported a known 16-year-old male suspect damaged a wall inside her home. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $500.00.

Officers filed a report for theft in the 1000 block of Humboldt St. in Manhattan on November 16, 2020, at approximately 1:16 p.m. Officers listed a 39-year-old male as the victim when it was reported a known 34-year-old female suspect stole cash and gift cards. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $985.00.
