Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the 1000 block of Scenic Drive in Manhattan on October 20, 2023, around 2:24 PM. When officers arrived on scene they found a 2013 gray Honda Fit driven by Isaih Endres, 20, of Fort Riley had crashed with a 2023 blue Yamaha MT03 driven by Shay White, 24, of Manhattan. White was transported to Via Christi for treatment of her injuries. Endres was issued a notice to appear for failure to yield the right of way.
Kassi Martin, 26, of Manhattan was arrested while in the 100 block of Courthouse Plaza in Manhattan on October 20, 2023, around 10:11 AM. Martin was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for abuse of a child and aggravated endangering a child. The original crime was reported to have occurred in June 2023.
