The RCPD has provided updates on various incidents and arrests that occurred between January 21 and January 22, 2025.

Incidents:

The RCPD reported 21 incidents on January 21, 2025, including accidents, battery, fraud, and drug-related offenses. The detailed list includes:

  • Accidents: Several non-injury accidents were reported across Manhattan, including incidents at McCall Rd & Kretschmer Dr, S Seth Child Rd, and others.
  • Battery: A battery incident occurred  at 1:52 PM, while another occurred at 1:08 PM.
  • Property Crimes: Criminal damage to property (CDP) occurred at the Rock House Bar on Riley Ave, in Ogden
  • Drug-Related Incident: A drug-related incident was reported at 430 Fort Riley Blvd at Shop Quik #12 in Manhattan on January 22, 2025.
  • Fraud: Fraud cases were reported at the Hy-Vee store at 601 3rd Pl, Manhattan, multiple times on January 21, 2025.
  • Warrants & Other Crimes: There were multiple warrants issued for arrests, including one for a suspect at Shawnee County. Furthermore, a report of perjury was also noted among the daily reports.

Arrests:

  • Tyler Michael Hunter: Arrested for a failure to appear charge. Hunter, aged 35, from Manhattan, was arrested early on January 22 at the Shop Quik on Fort Riley Blvd. His bond was set at $100.
  • Jeremy Joseph Brecken: A 43-year-old from Manhattan was arrested for domestic battery and criminal damage to property. His total bond was set at $4,000.
  • Mistella Dawn Kneil Haefner: Haefner, aged 51, from St. George, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear at the Manhattan Municipal Court. Her bond was set at $1,000.
  • Dylan Curtis Zeller: Zeller, 19, from Manhattan, was arrested on January 19, 2025, in Johnson County, KS, on charges of aggravated sexual battery and rape. More information could be released at a later date.
  • Christopher Lee Hulon: A 41-year-old from Topeka, Hulon was arrested on January 16, 2025, for failure to appear in Shawnee County, with a bond set for $500.
