The RCPD has provided updates on various incidents and arrests that occurred between January 18 and January 19, 2025.
Reported Incidents:
- Non-Injury Accident
- A non-injury accident was reported on January 18 at 2:48 p.m. at the intersection of N. 11th Street and Moro Street in Manhattan.
- Disorderly Conduct
- Officers responded to a disorderly conduct incident on January 19 at 2:13 a.m. in the 1100 block of Laramie Street.
- Domestic Case
- A domestic-related incident was reported on January 18 at 3:33 p.m. in Manhattan.
- DUI Arrest
- On January 19 at 1:57 a.m., a DUI incident occurred in the 1200 block of Bluemont Avenue.
- Larceny Reports
- Multiple thefts were reported, including:
- DP Dough at 1120 Moro Street.
- Walmart at 101 Bluemont Avenue.
- Buckle in the Manhattan Town Center.
- Multiple thefts were reported, including:
- Warrant Execution
- Officers executed a warrant on January 18 at 5:58 p.m. at the Manhattan Town Center.
Arrests:
- Terrell Malik Miller
- Arrested on January 19 at 2:18 a.m. in the 1200 block of Bluemont Avenue for driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol (first offense).
- Bond was set at $750.
- Eli Joseph Smith
- Arrested on January 18 at 8:00 p.m. at the Manhattan Town Center.
- Charges include:
- Possession of an opiate, opium, narcotic, or certain stimulant ($4,000 bond).
- Failure to appear ($1,500 bond).
- Theft of property or services less than $1,500 with prior convictions ($5,500 total bond).
- Smith remains confined in the Riley County Jail.
