Officers filed a report of aggravated burglary and criminal damage to property at approximately 4:42 p.m. on Jan. 13, 2025 in the 1000 block of Poyntz Ave. A 59-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported a 29-year-old suspect, unknown to the victim, was in their residence. Anthony Ellis, 29, of Lansing, was arrested for aggravated burglary and criminal damage to property at approximately 5:41 p.m. near 12th Street and Poyntz Ave. Ellis was issued a total bond of $50,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
