One person was injured Wednesday evening after shots were fired outside Manhattan Town Center.

According to Riley County Police, a 20-year-old woman and 21-year-old man were involved in an isolated altercation with a 33-year-old man outside of Dillard’s. The 33-year-old was later located near the intersection of 3rd and Kearney, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to Ascension Via Christi and then later transported to Stormont Vail in Topeka.

Police continue to investigate and so far have made no arrests. There is no threat to the public.
