The Riley County Police Department is investigating after someone fired gunshots into a parked vehicle Monday morning in Manhattan.

Officers filed a report of criminal damage to property and criminal discharge of a firearm just after 10 a.m. June 29 in the 1300 block of Marlatt Avenue.

A 33-year-old woman was listed as the victim after it was reported an unknown suspect fired two gunshots into her parked vehicle.

The estimated loss associated with the incident exceeds $1,000.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the Riley County Police Department or Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Tips can be submitted anonymously and may qualify for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
