Police are investigating a reported fraud case involving an online purchase scam in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department.
Officers filed a report at approximately 12:52 p.m. May 14th, 2026, in the 1500 block of College Avenue. A 30-year-old man reported that he purchased a bicycle online from what was later determined to be a fraudulent seller.
The total estimated loss associated with the case is $2,500.
