Police have arrested a Manhattan woman for committing forgery and identity theft.

37-year-old Sarah Sessin was arrested and charged early Wednesday morning on probable cause offenses of forgery by making or altering a written instrument, making false information, interference with law enforcement by falsely reporting with the intention to obstruct and identity theft by misrepresenting to cause economic or bodily harm with a value greater than $100,000.

Sessin was booked into Riley County Jail just after 1 a.m. Wednesday and remains confined as of this report on a bond of $15,000.
