The University Park lagoon project is still on, but the county is going to need a loan to complete it.

The Riley County commission on Monday unanimously approved a 20-year loan from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment’s State Revolving Fund to cover any costs of the project beyond what other funding sources already have covered. The full loan amount is $462,210.
