Riley County police are looking at phone evidence to investigate a report of an Aug. 30 attack.

The woman, K-State student Kenna Hibbs, told police that someone attacked her in the early-morning hours while she was walking home from Aggieville, causing severe head injuries.

RCPD public information officer Ashley Tokoi said that the Aug. 30 incident is still under investigation and that police have the woman’s phone and will be sending whatever evidence they have to the lab for testing.
