Stormwater and limited pavement improvements by Bayer Construction Company started Nov. 4 on Dickens between Westport Drive and College Avenue. The project is expected to last through February.

PROVIDING HOPE — Clothes fill up a laundry basket Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024, during the Fairy Godmothers’ 17th annual Lingerie Luncheon at Manhattan Arts Center. The event collected new lingerie items — including undergarments, pajamas, socks and robes — that were donated directly to Manhattan Emergency Shelter, the Crisis Center, Big Lakes Developmental Center and Homestead Ministries.
