Riley County Police say one person was hospitalized after being struck by a car Sunday morning.
Officers responded to an injury accident near College and Kimball Ave. just before noon Sunday. According to its incident report, 68-year-old Marian Brandenburg of Manhattan, was found at the intersection and was transported to nearby Ascension Via Christi for treatment of injuries.
Police say 19-year-old Talitha Peverill was issued a citation for failing to yield right of way to a pedestrian.
