A person is dead following a pedestrian versus train incident early Monday morning in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department.

Officers responded at approximately 2:10 a.m. March 30th, 2026, to the area of East Highway 24 and Levee Drive. Upon arrival, officers located a 25-year-old individual who had been struck by a train and was pronounced dead at the scene.

No additional information will be released.
