Evergy customers woke up early Wednesday to find themselves without power as storms moved across the area.
As of this morning at 8:30 am, over 15,000 customers remain without power in Northeast Kansas. Manhattan was hardly affected by these outages, with under 5 customers affected by the storms while Topeka has seen around 12,000 outages this morning.Silver Lake also reportedly had several trees and power lines reportedly down on Wednesday morning.
Onaga has well over 700 outages while Rossville has around 450 outages.
As of 8:30 am on Wednesday, Evergy is reporting that power has been restored to all of St. Marys.
Evergy is estimating that around 1.6 million customers have been served.
