An Ogden man jailed on other charges was arrested on new charges Monday from a past warrant listing several drug-related offenses.

According to the Riley County Police Department, 28-year-old David DeJesus Roman is facing charges of distribution of an opiate, narcotic or certain stimulant and use of a communication facility in the commission of a felony drug violation. The warrant stems from an incident on April 23.

Bond was set at $7,500 for the new charges.

DeJesus Roman remained in custody as of Tuesday’s arrest report.
