It was breakfast basketball at Bramlage Coliseum Monday, and the 13th-ranked Kansas State women had a feast.

The Wildcats tipped their highly anticipated regular season with a 92-45 onslaught of Green Bay, a veteran-laden squad that won 27 games and reached the NCAA Tournament last year.

Despite a morning tip time and the piercing cacophony of more than 1,000 shrieking schoolchildren in the building for Education Day, K-State put on a total team performance, highlighting the depth it retained and added in the offseason.
