WAMEGO — This fall and in the future, the Wamego High football team will carry a local boy’s love of life and football.
Hank Hartwich, a bubbling and smiling boy whose craving for football reached stratospheric heights, died of cancer earlier this year. He proudly wore his No. 1 jersey on and off the field.
