New York man arrested in Riley County on rape, aggravated sexual battery allegations

A 26-year-old New York man was arrested Friday afternoon on multiple sex crime allegations in Riley County.

Giovani Gavaska Green, of Jamaica, New York, was arrested at about 5:03 p.m. at the Riley County Law Enforcement Center on allegations of rape involving sexual intercourse with a physically powerless victim and aggravated sexual battery involving a physically powerless victim.

Green also faces three counts of lewd and lascivious behavior involving exposing sex organs to another person age 16 or older. The jail record lists three separate case numbers associated with the allegations.

Green was issued a $100,000 bond and remained confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report.
