Maddie Myers continued her strong start to the season Wednesday, winning medalist honors at the Washburn Rural Classic at Wamego Country Club.
The Manhattan High senior shot an even-par 70 to finish first on the individual leaderboard, three strokes ahead of Blue Valley Southwest’s Kennedy Kaus. Myers had three birdies and three bogeys during her round.
