The Indian boys — the defending 6A state champions — won 44-29, while the girls claimed a 48-36 victory.
“Happy with the performance for the first day out,” head coach Shawn Bammes said. “Some of those kids wrestled on short practice because of football season and we asked some kids to bump up a weight class with they usually wrestle.
“They stayed in the fight and took care of business.”
