Manhattan High softball saw mixed emotions in its debut at CiCo Park on Tuesday, dropping a pair to Great Bend and McPherson.

“Our defense wasn’t clicking,” head coach Jori Bellas said. “I feel like offensively, we hit the ball. We just hit it right to people. We did well at the plate — our defense just wasn’t clicking like it has at practice, and it did last week against Lawrence High.”
