MHS softball falls to undefeated Derby in regional final

Manhattan High softball saw its postseason run come to an end Tuesday night, splitting a pair of games at its Class 6A sub-state regional in Derby.

The No. 9-seeded Indians opened the day with a 4-2 upset-by-seed victory over No. 8 Garden City before falling to undefeated top-seeded Derby 8-0 in the regional championship game at Decarsky Park.
