Manhattan High football’s two-way star JJ Dunnigan announced his college commitment to Kansas University during the Under Armour Next All-America game on Thursday afternoon.

“We’re building something special (at Kansas),” Dunnigan said during ESPN’s broadcast. “And I’m going to have the ability to play both ways.”

Dunnigan, a 6-foot-2 junior defensive back and wide receiver for the Indians, earned college offers from Kansas State, Nebraska, Stanford, Illinois, Kansas, Iowa, Wisconsin and more.
