In all likelihood, the highest-ranked opponents Manhattan High football will face in its regular season this fall are scheduled for the first two weeks.

In a true four-quarter fight against Missouri power Rockhurst last week, the Indians fell to 0-1 with a 32-28 loss. Now Manhattan, still ranked No. 2 in the Kansas 6A media rankings, will head to Mill Valley to face the top-ranked team in 6A on Friday.
