Manhattan High boys’ soccer responded from a two-game skid at home to defeat rival Junction City in double overtime on Tuesday.

The Indians (3-6) had a week off prior to the contest and the much-needed time off proved to be beneficial. Manhattan used its second wind to its advantage, outlasting the Blue Jays 2-1.

Before the victory, Manhattan had seen a pair of home losses come in the final minutes, including a 2-1 overtime loss to Wichita North less than two weeks ago.
