Manhattan High baseball split with Centennial League foe Washburn Rural on Wednesday evening at CiCo Park.
“When you play against a quality opponent in a doubleheader, it’s really hard to sweep a team,” head coach Don Hess said. “You hope you learn something from good competition, and sometimes it’s OK if you walk away with a split. You just hope that the lessons that come with that split are very visible to the players as well.”
