On October 26, 2024, officers filed a report of arson and interference with law enforcement on Brookglen Circle in Manhattan, KS.
The incident occurred around 12:25 p.m., when 50-year-old Joanne Burnett allegedly started a fire, damaging a dumpster belonging to Howie’s Recycling Center. A 23-year-old man was also listed as a victim in the report.
Burnett was arrested on charges of arson and interference with law enforcement. She was issued a $6,000 bond and has since been released from custody.
