A 32-year-old Manhattan man was arrested Friday on 28 counts of sexual exploitation of a child involving a child under the age of 14.
According to the RCPD, Kenneth Alen Runion was arrested just before 11 a.m. in the 2500 block of Farm Bureau Road.
Runion faces 28 counts of sexual exploitation of a child involving allegations of promoting the performance of a child under 14 by an offender older than 18.
The arrest stems from a report originally filed in August 2026.
Runion was issued a total bond of $250,000 and remained confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report.
Due to the nature of the allegations, the RCPD says no additional information will be released at this time.
