A Manhattan man was taken into custody last week after reportedly violating multiple court-ordered no-contact orders.

According to the Riley County Police Department, officers filed a report of stalking and violation of a court order in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on April 24, 2025. A 28-year-old woman was listed as the victim in the case.

Investigators determined that 29-year-old Sherman Sherin II violated two separate protection orders on three occasions between April 22 and April 25.

Sherin was arrested on April 24 at approximately 3:30 p.m. at 1001 S. Seth Child Road. He faces one count of stalking and six counts of violation of a protection order.

He remains confined in the Riley County Jail on a total bond of $20,000.
