Manhattan High girls’ soccer advance on to the regional championship after a 4-1 victory over Wichita East on Tuesday night.
The Indians (9-8) got off to a fast start, putting two goals away in the first 15 minutes. Evelynn Thornburg knocked in a shot off a corner kick, making it 1-0. Olivia Stuckwisch followed five minutes later with a goal of her own, giving Manhattan a nice early lead.
