Manhattan girls and boys basketball played its final games of the regular season last night as they hosted Centennial League hoe Hayden on senior night. In the girls’ game, Hayden, the number two team in 3A, used a 23 point 3rd quarter to build a lead and beat Manhattan 61-48. Despite Hayden making 11 three-pointers, the Manhattan boys led from start to finish and beat the Wildcats 77-70. The 77 points was the most scored by MHS this season.

The Manhattan girls close out the regular season with a 10-10 overall record and 4-6 in league play. The boys finish with a record of 12-8 overall and 6-4 in league play. Up next, both team now wait for its sub-state semifinal game that will be announced this weekend.
