A Manhattan High alum and former K-State football player passed away this weekend.

Terrale Johnson died on Saturday, April 20, at the age of 29. The 6’1” offensiive lineman played for head Coach Joe Schartz at Manhattan High and graduated in 2012.

In college, Johnson played his first two seasons at Hutchinson Community College before transferring to K-State.

Johnson played in 23 games for Bill Snyder. Including, starts in all 13 games his senior season in 2016. Earning First Team All-Big 12 honors from the Associated Press and Pro Football Focus in addition to second-team honors from ESPN.com.

Most recently, Johnson had been coach with the Mill Valley High School football team.

Johnson’s cause of death has not been released.
