A Manhattan man was injured in an accident just before 1:30p.m. Sunday in Manhattan.
According to the Riley County Police Department, a 2018 Hyundai driven by Cody Copeland, 23, Manhattan, failed to yield right of way at the intersection of Pillsbury Drive and McDowell Creek Road.
The vehicle struck a 2006 Yamana motorcycle driven by Corey Kirkwood, 38, Manhattan.
EMS transported Kirkwood to Via Christi for treatment of his injuries. Copeland was issued a citation. RCPD released no additional details.
