Police are investigating a reported fraud case involving an online vehicle sale in Manhattan.
According to the Riley County Police Department, officers filed a report at approximately 7:33 p.m. Feb. 11 in the 1000 block of South Seth Child Road. A 21-year-old man told officers he made a down payment to a known suspect for a vehicle being sold on Facebook Marketplace but never received the vehicle.
The estimated loss associated with the case is $1,000.
No additional information was immediately released.
