The Kansas Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon near Junction City.
KHP Trooper Ben Gardner tweeted shortly after 1 p.m. that one person has died in the crash on Thursday.
KHP Troop C first posted to social media around noon on August 1 about a crash involving a semi-truck and a motorcycle on I-70 in Geary County.
The crash is in a part of the highway which has been under ongoing construction work.
Identification of the dead will be released once the victim’s family has been notified.
