A Manhattan man convicted of child sex crimes in September will be sentenced in Riley County District Court Monday morning.

A jury convicted 29-year-old Tristian Gooden-Heit on 15 counts of child sex crimes and single counts of computer crimes and interference with law enforcement by tampering with evidence on Sept. 27.

Gooden-Heit was arrested in summer 2022 after he forwarded nude images of a 14-year-old girl to himself from her boyfriend’s cell phone. Gooden-Heit, who worked at Opportunities Unlimited in Ogden where the boy lived, had the boy’s phone in his possession while the boy went for a run.
