A Manhattan man is being held in the Riley County Jail after being arrested Saturday morning for assaulting police officers.
31-year-old Camron Todd Leupold was arrested in the 2200 block of Buckingham around 2:30 a.m. on two counts of assaulting a law enforcement officer, and one count each of battery and interference with a law enforcement officer.
As of Saturday, Leupold was still confined in the RCJ on a total bond of $10,000. Reports show Leupold was arrested last November for violating a protection order, domestic battery and criminal damage to property.
