A Larned man was arrested Friday on multiple charges related to the alleged sexual abuse of a minor.
Kansas Bureau of Investigation agents arrested 36-year-old Alexander M. Jacobs at about 5:50 p.m. in the 300 block of West Fourth Street in Larned.
Jacobs was arrested on two counts of criminal sodomy of a child, two counts of electronic solicitation of a child and one count of indecent solicitation of a child. He was booked into the Ford County Jail following his arrest.
The investigation began after the Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the KBI on April 10. Authorities were investigating allegations that a 15-year-old had been sexually assaulted in Pawnee County on April 6.
The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the KBI at 1-800-KS-CRIME or submit an anonymous tip through the KBI website.
