
Kansas State women’s basketball head coach Jeff Mittie has added a strong backcourt presence to the 2025-26 roster, as Izela Arenas has signed with the Wildcats.
Arenas, a product of Porter Ranch, California, played her first collegiate season in 2024-25 at Louisville. She saw action in 29 games and logged 343 minutes of playing time (11.8 mpg). She carded 121 points (4.2 ppg) on a 41.8 field goal percentage (46-of-110), including a 38.5 3-point field goal percentage (20-of-52). In ACC play, Arenas tallied 62 points (4.1 ppg) on a 45.3 percent effort (24-of-53) from the field including 41.7 percent (10-of-24) from long distance.
