Kansas State women’s basketball wrapped up non-conference play with its second true road win of the season, topping Creighton 75-71 in Omaha.
The Wildcats started strong and led by as much as 15 early in the second half, but the Bluejays made it interesting late, as K-State had to fight off a comeback bid by the home team to leave Nebraska with a win.
Despite some ups and downs, K-State (7-6) ends the non-conference with a winning record and looks ahead to a daunting Big 12 schedule starting on Saturday.
