The road for the Kansas State women came to an end Saturday evening, falling 67-61 to USC in the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Tournament in Spokane, Washington.
The back-and-forth game featured nine ties and eight lead changes, but the fifth-seeded Wildcats trailed for the vast majority of Saturday’s game, leading only 4:28 total.
