Nearly five months after Kansas State suspended women’s soccer coach Colleen Corbin for using a racial slur while addressing players’ pregame music, Corbin publicly addressed the incident for the first time.
Corbin did not dispute the circumstances surrounding the two-week suspension but said she was deeply regretful for what she said, how she said it and, ultimately, how her actions affected people.
