Things couldn’t have gone better in Kansas State first-year head coach Collin Klein’s debut 71-3 win over Nicholls on Saturday.

The Wildcats had a top-five offensive night in school history while rendering the Colonels absolutely helpless with their smothering defense. Add some special teams flash with a 65-yard punt return for a touchdown, and you’d be hard-pressed to find fault with what K-State was able to accomplish in its season-opener.
