A season filled with costly mistakes and missed opportunities wrapped up appropriately for Kansas State Saturday night, falling 29-21 at Iowa State in a final game of the regular season where KSU was playing catch-up for most of the night.

The Wildcats (8-4, 5-4 Big 12) end the season tied for eighth place in the Big 12 after losing three of the final four games.
