Riley County community corrections saw nearly twice the number of juvenile intakes in July as it did in June.
Community corrections interim director Megan Lewis on Monday told Riley County commissioners her department had 10 more juvenile intakes in July.
“We had 25 intakes in Riley County and two in Clay County for a total of 27,” Lewis said. “If you look before, in the month of June, we had a total of 15.”
