A Junction City man was injured in an accident on Thursday on US-77.
The accident occurred just after 10 a.m. on Thursday when Jeremy Hammon of Junction City was traveling northbound on US 77 near milemarker 157 on his 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Hammon was then reportedly hit by Larry Yarrow of Clay Center while traveling southbound on 77 and failed to stop at a red light while turning eastbound onto the K-57 highway.
Yarrow proceeded to strike Hammon with his vehicle. Hammon was treated at the scene by Junction City Fire/EMS and declined transport to Stormont Vail.
