The start of classes at K-State means the arrival of international students, who come to Manhattan from various parts of the world to study.

The K-State Alumni Association, in collaboration with the Union Program Council, held an International Block Party Friday as part of its Week of Welcome.

It is the first of several international-themed events the university offers.
